A Fresh Start

Owning a Great Harvest Bread Co. is a bit of a dream come true for us.  During our careers in Corporate America, we were fortunate to work for exceptional companies.  However, something was missing -- passion about what we were doing.  Ainley's desire to own her own business was an itch that needed scratching.  Also, after growing up in Utah, Mark's work took him to Wisconsin and Illinois.  He missed the mountains, climate, diverse geography and skiing that the west had to offer.  We looked for a way to own our own business and live in the mountain west.  Our passion for fresh, great tasting, nutritious bread, and our desire to run a community-based business, led us to Great Harvest.

Great Harvest has been making great bread for communities across the U.S. for over 25 years.  Your Colorado Springs Great Harvest may look and feel siimilar to other Great Harvest bakeries.  But at the same time, there is not another Great Harvest out there that is just like us.  We operate under a “Freedom Franchise.” The “Freedom” part means that we get to run our business in a way that meets our community’s unique needs. The “Franchise” part gives us access to the recipes and processes that GH has continuously improved for over two decades. The result is phenomenal breads and sweets that will make your mouth say -- wow!!
   

We are fortunate to be able to call Colorado Springs home.  Along with our great team of "Professional Loafers", we’re excited to bring this tradition to you, our neighbors and friends.
